Do I need internet to use it?
To sync your data, yes — but you can export your family plan to keep on paper for any emergency.
Does it renew automatically every year?
No. It is a one-time payment for 12 months and does not renew automatically; you decide whether to renew.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. When you create your account you get a 7-day free trial, no card required.
How do I activate my account after paying?
With PayPal, once the payment finishes we take you to create your account and it activates automatically. With a card, create your account with the same email you used to pay. If anything does not activate, email us and we will sort it out.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your account is private, with protected login and encryption in transit.
What goes in a 72-hour emergency kit?
The basics: water (at least 1 gallon or 3.8 L per person per day), non-perishable food for 3 days, a first-aid kit, a flashlight, a battery-powered radio, a power bank, copies of important documents, regular medications and cash in small bills.
