Visual redesign and the blog is born

  • New "Minimal sage" design: light background, white cards and sage green across the app, login, sign-up and public pages.
  • New icons throughout the app, replacing emojis, for a cleaner look.
  • Custom 404 page and a fix for accents and symbols that displayed incorrectly.
  • The family preparedness blog (with search, categories, share buttons and newsletter sign-up) and this what's-new page launch, in Spanish and English.

Offline mode, faster scanner and Telegram

  • You can now view your pantry offline: the app keeps a local copy of your data and shows a notice page when there is no internet.
  • The barcode scanner loads only when you use it, so the app opens faster.
  • Safer sessions when you log in and out.
  • Telegram bot (@despendobot) is live.
  • Home page in Spanish and English scoring 100 on Google PageSpeed.

Automatic renewal checked end to end

  • Annual subscription with automatic renewal, tested with card (Stripe) and PayPal.
  • Email reminders before your subscription expires, checked every day.
  • Cleanup of old payment routes and better error logging.
